Children's Charity
In 1996, Pelzer Masonic Lodge # 217 launched our Children's Charity, joining with local churches and school district employees, we joined the school district to identify families, that may need help providing gifts for their children. That first year, with $500 from Lodge funds., we provided gifts for three children.
Since that time we have hosted fundraising events throughout the year to fund this project. Thanks to member donations, generous business sponsorships, and community support, we have over the last eleven years, raised almost $25,000 and have had the opportunity to make Christmas brighter for more than one hundred and fifty children in our community.
